ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Russia are holding the 5th round of bilateral political consultations in Islamabad today (Tuesday).
According to state media, on the occasion, they would review the bilateral relations, identify places of mutual interest for further cooperation, and exchange views on significant regional and world developments.
Foreign Secretary Dr Asad Majeed Khan will lead the Pakistan delegation, while Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Andrey Rudenko will lead the Russian side.
Russia and Pakistan enjoy friendly ties marked by mutual respect, trust, and understanding.
The two countries would commemorate the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations this year.
