KARACHI: The Consul General of Russian Federation in Karachi Andrey V. Fedorov has stated that the bilateral cooperation between Russia and Pakistan was rapidly developing and high-level contacts between leadership of both the nations had further strengthened it.
The diplomat expressed these remarks during an interview with APP on the occasion of an even organized in connection with the “People’s Unity Day”. The day, is being celebrated by people of Russia on November 4 annually to commemorate an unprecedented resilience of their nation, Fedorov stated.

Responding to a question about Pakistan-Russia relations and the SCO Summit, Andrey V. Fedorov stated that the ties between Moscow and Islamabad were developing with passage of time and presently there was a trade volume of more than $ 2 billion between the two sides. He added that all members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) are equal and working together to save future of their upcoming generation. He added that the SCO was providing stability of the region and it was working very well.
Referring to Pakistan-Russia ties, the diplomat said in the recent years, bilateral cooperation of the two nations had quickly developed.
