ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office Spokesperson announced on Tuesday that October 15 marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Romania.
“This special occasion reflects the cordial and enduring friendship between our nations, shaped by our shared aspirations for global peace, stability, and development,” the spokesperson stated in a press release.
On this significant day, the Foreign Ministers of Pakistan and Romania exchanged congratulatory messages, celebrating their mutual achievements. The messages highlighted a commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation across various sectors for the benefit of both countries.
Since establishing diplomatic ties, Pakistan and Romania have built a strong partnership in multiple areas, benefiting their people. The Bilateral Political Consultation mechanism provides a solid foundation for comprehensive dialogue, with the potential to deepen this long-standing relationship.
Additionally, the two countries have collaborated closely in international forums, including the United Nations.
To commemorate this milestone, a joint logo has been created for official communication by the Embassies of both nations throughout the year. Various events will also be organized to celebrate this historic occasion appropriately.
