ISLAMABAD: As many as 57 new coronavirus patients have been reported nationwide during the last 24 hours as the deadly virus claimed yet another life.
According to the daily data released by the National Institute of Health, a total of 8600 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours for detecting the virus and 57 out of the total tested positive.
New Cases of Coronavirus
Furthermore, 53 patients admitted to different hospitals in Pakistan are in critical condition. Coronavirus has claimed a total of 30630 lives in Pakistan so far and infected 1574800 people. However, Pakistan has 792 active cases till today and 1543378 people have recovered from the disease including 53 in the last 24 hours.
The current positivity ratio is 0.66 percent and Islamabad took the lead with the highest ratio of 1.61 percent. A total of 434 cases were tested and 7 were positive. Lahore has the second highest with 9 positive cases and a 1.55 percent ratio.
