ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported another 22 Covid-19 infections during the last 24 hours with no deaths.
The official data released by the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Friday morning confirmed that the positivity ratio had increased slightly to 0.83 per cent but still below 1 per cent.
According to the official data, the death toll due to the infection remained the same at 30,657 in Pakistan; however, the number of total cases of Covid now rose to 1,580,830 after the addition of 22 new cases.
During the last 24 hours on Thursday, 2,643 tests were conducted nationwide, and as many as eight patients are in critical condition at various hospitals.
