Pakistan Repatriates 244,229 Undocumented Immigrants via KP Border Crossings

PESHAWAR: As many as 244,229 undocumented immigrants, including Afghans, were repatriated to their respective countries through three border crossing points of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. 

The Home Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday said that 240,395 illegal immigrants were repatriated through the Torkham border, 3,415 through Angor Adda in Lower Waziristan, and 419 via Karlachi in Kurram. 

Detailing the nature of repatriations, the spokesperson of the Home Department mentioned that 238,386 individuals returned voluntarily, while 5,843 were deported through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between September 17 to November 26, 2023. 

Moreover, undocumented immigrants from Landi Kotal in the Khyber district were provided with free transport services.
