ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has released a special song to welcome foreign dignitaries attending the 23rd meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (CHG) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), being held in Islamabad.
The song highlights Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and the tradition of warm hospitality, according to a statement from the ministry.
The vibrant song features stunning visuals of Pakistan’s beautiful landscapes, historic landmarks, and the diverse cultural fabric of the country. It conveys a heartfelt message of hospitality, welcoming the heads of government from SCO member states and reflecting the country’s deep-rooted tradition of greeting guests with open arms.
“The lyrics of the song emphasize the warmth and generosity of the Pakistani people, while also capturing their commitment to national development and progress,” the ministry said.
The song also celebrates the hard work, dedication, and passion of Pakistan’s citizens in contributing to the nation’s growth.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting expressed hope that the song will not only offer the SCO guests an appreciation for Pakistan’s rich culture but also foster a deeper sense of connection with the country.
Renowned Pakistani singer Umair Jaswal lent his voice to the song, further enhancing its appeal. The ministry said the song will resonate with the visiting dignitaries and create a lasting impression of Pakistan’s culture and hospitality.
