ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s security sources on Monday rejected Indian media reports accusing Pakistan of drone incursions across the Line of Control (LoC) as “entirely fabricated and baseless,” adding that Pakistan is fully respecting the truce.

Security sources said that no Pakistani drone had crossed the border or violated the LoC, adding that it is, in fact, Indian drones that have been breaching the ceasefire along both the LoC and the Working Boundary. “Indian media is spreading fabricated and false news about Pakistan violating the ceasefire. No Pakistani drone has crossed the border or the Line of Control,” security sources said.

Security sources said Indian media reports are “routinely misleading and based on falsehoods.”

Security sources said that Pakistan is fully respecting the ceasefire agreement.

“In reality, it is Indian drones that have been violating the ceasefire along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary,” the sources added.

International media exposes Indian media

International media has also exposed the Indian media’s propaganda against Pakistan.

International broadcaster Deutsche Welle has declared videos shared from Indian social media accounts as fake through fact-checking.

According to DW, a few days ago, a video of an attack on Sialkot was shared from an Indian social media account.

DW reported that the video of the Sialkot attack was false and misleading. The video was actually a month old and was of a gas cylinder explosion in Mumbai.

DW also revealed that an AI-generated fake video of the DG ISPR was also shared from an Indian account in the video, the original words of the DG ISPR were altered using AI.

DW reported that a video showing former US President Donald Trump supporting Indian aggression was also shared from Indian accounts. Fact-checking showed that the video was AI-generated, and no such statement was made by the US President.

Defence analysts said that the Indian media has always tried to hide the truth by spreading false and misleading propaganda.

Pakistan, India DGMOs hold talks

Earlier today, the military operations chiefs of India and Pakistan held talks by phone, two days after the nuclear-armed neighbours reached a ceasefire agreement following intense fighting last week.

The Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs) of both countries held the first round of talks on the hotline.

US President Donald Trump on Monday said that he prevented a nuclear war between arch-rivals Pakistan and India.

Speaking to the media at the White House, the US president said: “We stopped a nuclear conflict. I think it could have been a bad nuclear war; millions of people could have been killed. So I’m very proud of that.”

Pakistan, India talks will focus on Kashmir, terrorism, water

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif outlined the primary points for discussion in any potential negotiations with India. He said that talks would focus on three main issues: Kashmir, terrorism, and water.

He stressed that terrorism, a threat Pakistan has faced for the past 20 to 30 years, continues to be a significant challenge for the country.

Asif also pointed out that Pakistan remains the biggest victim of terrorism, emphasising the urgency of addressing this issue in future dialogue.

Highlighting the importance of resolving the Kashmir dispute, Asif referred to it as a golden opportunity for both nations to address long-standing tensions.

He also mentioned US President Donald Trump’s recent remarks on the Kashmir issue, recognising his call for its inclusion in discussions between Pakistan and India.

Asif criticised the irony of Pakistan being accused of terrorism despite being the country most affected by it, stating that the situation has become a bitter irony for Pakistan.
