ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering moral, diplomatic, and political support for Palestinians amid ongoing Israeli aggression. In a message on Solidarity Day with the Palestinian people, Sharif emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to the Palestinian cause until an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital is established.
Sharif condemned Israel’s continued atrocities, highlighting the intensification of violence over the past year. He accused Israel of disregarding international institutions and resolutions, including those of the UN Security Council and the International Court of Justice. Furthermore, he lamented the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, where millions of Palestinians are facing relentless bombardment, starvation, and lack of water.
The Prime Minister also pointed out that Israel’s actions extend beyond Gaza, affecting other regions. He affirmed that the hearts of Pakistani citizens are with their Palestinian brothers and sisters, standing in solidarity with them as they face ongoing Israeli oppression.
