DOHA: Pakistan and Qatar have made their agreement to further enhance cultural ties, local media reported on Wednesday.
The two sides agreed during a high-level meeting between interim Minister for National Heritage and Culture Jamal Shah with Qatar Minister for Culture Sheikh Abdulrehman bin Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 12th Conference of the Culture Ministers of Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) of OIC in Doha.

The two sides highlighted the significance of advancing talks on the proposed Qatar and Pakistan cultural exchanges. The two Ministers discussed the entire range of bilateral ties and cultural matters of mutual interest.

Jamal Shah also held separate meetings with the Culture Minister of Palestine and Iran and discussed matters of mutual interest.
