ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday invited Saudi Arabia’s government and firms to avail the investment opportunities in mining, agriculture, Information Technology, energy, and other fields of Pakistan.

Shehbaz Sharif expressed these remarks during a meeting with Saudi Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Eng Waleed Abdulkarim El Khereji in Islamabad. The Prime Minister said that the formation of a Special Investment Facilitation Council would facilitate and fast-track potential investments from GCC nations, especially Saudi Arabia.

Prime Minister Invites Saudi Firms to Avail Investment Opportunities in Pakistan
In this connection, Shehbaz Sharif lauded KSA’s serious interest in exploring investment opportunities in the South Asian country. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for its timely financial help, particularly during the floods, and also lauded its role in helping Islamabad in its efforts to attain macroeconomic stability in the South Asian country.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s vice minister is leading a high-level delegation with officials from the Saudi Foreign Ministry, health, energy, agriculture, environment, industry, and mineral resources.
Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the delegation and expressed satisfaction with the positive course of bilateral ties with Riyadh.
The trip of the Saudi delegation shows the deep interest and inclination of both countries to transform the long-lasting brotherly relations into concrete and mutually rewarding economic partnerships. The trip will contribute to enhancing multi-faceted cooperation between the two nations.
