ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday called for joint action to strengthen regional stability, boost shared prosperity and maintain a consistent stance on major global matters during his address to the Türkiye-Pakistan-Azerbaijan Trilateral Summit in Azerbaijan.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev took part in the second meeting of the Türkiye-Pakistan-Azerbaijan Trilateral Summit.
Turkiye and Azerbaijan had openly pledged support for Pakistan during its latest military confrontation with archrival India earlier this month, while Iran had urged restraint and also offered to mediate.
