BAHAWALPUR: The district police arrested 39 people and seized 31 guns and other weapons during different raids, according to the officials.

The Bahawalpur Police spokesperson stated that the district police initiated a crackdown against the criminals, carried out raids, and searched people on the streets on the orders of the higher police authorities.
He said that 39 suspects were found to have 31 guns, one repeater, two rifles, two guns, and one revolver during the search operation. Police have filed cases against the alleged offenders. More investigation was being done, said the spokesperson. — APP
