ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Abu Dhabi on a one-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the invitation of UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to Prime Minister’s Office (Press Wing) of Pakistan, Sharif was warmly received at Al Bateen Airport by the UAE President’s brother and National Security Adviser, Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Senior UAE officials, Pakistan’s Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, and members of the Pakistani diplomatic mission were also present at the reception.
During the visit, Prime Minister Sharif will hold high-level talks with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He is accompanied by a high-powered delegation including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
