Pakistan PM Grants One-Year Extension to Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Babar

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif granted a one-year extension to Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu on Sunday, local media reported.

PM Shehbaz Sharif has sent the advisory of the Air Chief Marshal’s extension to President Asif Ali Zardari.

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu 

Zaheer Babar is a four-star Air Force officer and the sixteenth Chief of Air Staff of Pakistan. He took over command of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on March 19, 2021, from his predecessor ACM Mujahid Anwar Khan.

It may be noted that Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu held a meeting with newly elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif a few days ago and discussed matters of national importance.
