Pakistan Pavilion Inaugurated at Middle East Energy 2025 in Dubai

DUBAI: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, on Monday inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at the 49th edition of Middle East Energy 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The event, recognised as the region’s premier energy exhibition, runs from April 7 to 9 and draws over 40,000 energy professionals and 1,600 international exhibitors from across the world.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Pakistan’s Consul General Hussain Muhammad, Trade & Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan, and Chairman of the Pakistan Business Council Dubai, Shabbir Merchant, alongside Pakistani exhibitors showcasing their innovations in the energy sector.

Organised by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), the Pakistan Pavilion features eight leading Pakistani companies that are highlighting innovations across five key sectors in the energy transition.

These sectors include Smart Solutions, Clean & Renewable Energy, Backup Generators & Critical Power, Transmission & Distribution, and Energy Consumption & Management.

Ambassador Tirmizi expressed pride in Pakistan’s growing role within the global energy market, saying, “It is a matter of great pride that eight dynamic Pakistani companies are participating in this prestigious event under TDAP’s platform. Our pavilion is attracting global buyers, with a strong focus on smart energy solutions, renewable technologies, and power infrastructure. The increasing interest in Pakistani products reflects our country’s potential as a competitive player in the energy sector.”

The Ambassador also highlighted Pakistan’s export growth, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, with the UAE being one of Pakistan’s key trading partners.

He remarked, “Middle East Energy provides the opportunity for Pakistani businesses to engage in knowledge exchange, forge partnerships, and explore new avenues for collaboration with global industry leaders. This platform is instrumental in strengthening Pakistan’s footprint in the international energy market.”

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy officially opened Middle East Energy 2025. The exhibition features innovations and new-to-market technologies from over 1,600 energy suppliers from across the world.

More than 40,000 global energy professionals, including over 500 key buyers, are expected to visit the Dubai World Trade Centre before the exhibition concludes on April 9.

The event spans 16 halls and hosts 17 international pavilions, offering solutions across the entire energy value chain, from power generation and storage to clean mobility and smart grid technologies.
