The fixtures form part of a busy home and international schedule and offer both teams an opportunity to prepare ahead of major global tournaments.
Pakistan will host Australia for a three-match Twenty20 international series at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on January 29, 31, and February 1, with all games scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Ticket prices for the opening match on January 29 range from Rs800 for the VIP enclosures to Rs400 for general seating, with premium and first-class options available in between.
The series, part of Pakistan’s busy home cricket calendar, offers both sides crucial preparation ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
The series provides vital preparation for both teams ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, where Pakistan is in Group A and Australia in Group B. This marks Australia’s third visit to Pakistan since March-April 2022, when they played a three-match Test and ODI series, followed by a lone T20I, and also hosted three of their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 matches in the country. Australia won the only T20I at Gaddafi Stadium on April 5, 2022, by three wickets.
Scheduled amid a busy international calendar, the series will allow both sides to assess squad depth, experiment with combinations, and fine-tune strategies in the shortest format ahead of upcoming major tournaments.
