ISLAMABAD: The federal government has notified the public holidays as the year 2024 fast approaches.
The first public holiday across the country will be observed on February 5, and the last will fall on December 25 on the occasion of Christmas.
There are a total of 10 public holidays, as per a notification. The banks will observe three holidays. The first holiday will be on January 1 (Monday); second on March 11 (Monday) corresponding to the first of Ramadan 1445 AH for deduction of Zakat and the third will be on July 1.
