Pakistan Navy Top Brass Asses Changing Maritime Regional Situation

ISLAMABAD: The Command and Staff Conference of Pakistan Navy (PN) Thursday assessed changing maritime situation in the region and discussed different topics related to national security, combat readiness, geostrategic affairs, and training of troops.

The conference, chaired by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi at the Naval Headquarters, reviewed progress on PN’s ongoing projects and future plans.

The Naval Chief highlighted the importance of maintaining full combat readiness to effectively counter any potential attack against Pakistan.

Pakistan Navy safeguards maritime fronts

He lauded the efforts made towards capacity enhancement through the acquisition of the latest technologies and expressed his full confidence in the high state of operational readiness of the PN in safeguarding the country’s maritime frontiers.

The PN’s commitment in line with the government policies to make all-out efforts in supporting earthquake-hit nations Turkiye and Syria through the recently conducted International Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief mission was also reaffirmed.

The Command and Staff Conference serves as the highest decision-making body of the PN, wherein the Chief of the Naval Staff, Field Commanders, and Principal Staff Officers review the Pakistan Navy’s policies and plans.
