RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency successfully rescued 9 Indian citizens stranded in the Arabian Sea, stated a military statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday.
The Indians had been stranded on a boat without assistance for the past 24 hours. Upon receiving the information, a timely search and rescue operation was conducted by the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, utilizing long-range Maritime Time Patrol aircraft and PMSA Kashmir, read the statement.
The distressed boat was located, technical issues were addressed, and medical assistance was provided by PMSA Kashmir, said ISPR, adding the timely and professional nature of the operation, which was commended by the stranded Indian citizens on the boat.
