ISLAMABAD: A World-class Green-Tech Hub was inaugurated in Islamabad on Friday to transform Pakistan’s energy landscape and reduce carbon footprints in energy sector.
The project has been launched by Ministry of Climate Change and national and international energy sector jointly to tap into green technologies, eco-friendly innovations and foster renewable energy solutions in Pakistan.
Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Climate Change Romina Khurshid Alam, addressing the launching ceremony, said that the Green-Tech Hub would be helpful in positioning Pakistan as a regional leader in promotion and adoption of sustainable innovative solutions.
She added that the initiative will help us solve the most pressing climate challenges and build a greener and more resilient economy. She said the project will also position Pakistan as an international destination for green investments.
