The ongoing war involving Iran is likely to have economic and geopolitical implications for both Pakistan and Kazakhstan. For Pakistan, the conflict could lead to higher oil prices and disruptions in energy supplies.
Meanwhile, Kazakhstan, as a major energy producer, may experience shifts in global energy demand and supply routes, potentially benefiting from higher oil prices but also facing uncertainty in regional trade and economic stability if the conflict expands.
The Prime Minister noted that the strong voter turnout and support for the new constitution reflected the confidence of the people of Kazakhstan in President Tokayev’s leadership and reform agenda.
He expressed optimism that the reforms would further strengthen governance, institutional stability, and national development in the country.
Recalling President Tokayev’s recent visit to Pakistan last month, the Prime Minister said Islamabad was actively following up on the decisions reached during that visit.
He added that both sides would soon hold meetings to finalise proposed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and agreements aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation.
They also extended warm greetings to President Tokayev and the brotherly people of Kazakhstan on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, with best wishes for their continued peace and prosperity.
