A noteworthy development for IT services firms involves the introduction of specialized foreign currency accounts, contributing to the industry’s financial landscape. Concurrently, the government has undertaken a mission to enhance the workforce’s skill set, with ongoing training programs targeting 200,000 university graduates in the IT field.

Freelancers in Pakistan are self-confident to benefit from the launch of e-Rozgaar and co-working centers nationwide. In an effort to revolutionize the telecom industry, the government has committed to launching 5G services, a significant step toward creating a more favourable environment for entrepreneurship.
Telecom-related initiatives introduced during this time period include the establishment of a Telecom Tribunal and the implementation of a Telecom Infrastructure Sharing Policy. These measures are designed to ensure a robust and competitive telecom landscape in Pakistan.
To foster innovation and entrepreneurship, the government has introduced the Pakistan Startup Fund (PSF), offered co-investment opportunities and launching the International Startup Exchange Programme.
