ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has released a detailed dossier containing “undeniable evidence of Indian aggression”, a coordinated disinformation campaign, and a staged false flag operation in the Pahalgam area of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The dossier also outlines the success of Pakistan’s military response through Operation Banyan-um-Marsous.

The document includes satellite imagery, credible international media reports, and intelligence assessments highlighting India’s role in orchestrating the Pahalgam incident to malign Pakistan.

It also claimed that Indian media and social media accounts linked to the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) were involved in spreading fake news and creating a war-like atmosphere through propaganda.

According to the dossier, Pakistan remains committed to regional peace but will defend its sovereignty at all costs.

The document states that Indian media immediately disseminated false narratives following the Pahalgam incident, which international media outlets and even Indian politicians and members of the public have since questioned.

The dossier underscores Pakistan’s repeated calls for transparent investigations into the Pahalgam event, while also documenting civilian casualties — including women and children — caused by what it terms “cowardly Indian attacks.”

In response to “Indian aggression”, the dossier claims, Pakistan launched Operation Banyan-um-Marsous, a precision military operation targeting only Indian sites used to launch attacks on Pakistani civilians.

The document includes details of Indian military losses supported by satellite imagery and other verifiable data.

Officials said that the release of the dossier not only strengthens Pakistan’s diplomatic stance but also exposes India’s “aggression and misinformation campaign” with credible and irrefutable evidence.

By presenting facts and documented proof, Pakistan has crushed India’s lies and misleading propaganda, officials said.

Pakistan, India conflict

The military confrontation between India and Pakistan came as tensions over last month’s Pahalgam attack continued to build up. India, without presenting any credible evidence, blamed Pakistan for the attack.

On the night of May 6-7, India launched a series of air strikes in Punjab and Azad Kashmir, resulting in civilian casualties. Pakistan responded by downing five Indian fighter jets.

After intercepting drones sent by India and tit-for-tat strikes on each other’s airbases, it took American intervention on May 10 for both sides to finally drop their guns and declare a ceasefire.

India has since continued its aggressive posturing even as Pakistan has warned against any further military aggression and offered talks.

Pakistan to send high-level diplomatic mission globally

According to Pakistan’s state media, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday decided to send a “high-level diplomatic delegation to important world capitals to expose Indian propaganda” in the aftermath of the recent military escalation with India.

“In a telephonic conversation with Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the prime minister has entrusted the leadership of the delegation to him,” the report said.

The delegation comprises Dr Musadik Malik, Engineer Khurram Dastgir, Senator Sherry Rehman, Hina Rabbani Khar, Faisal Subzwari, Tehmina Janjua and Jalil Abbas Jilani, it added.

“The delegation will visit London, Washington, Paris, and Brussels to highlight India’s disinformation campaign and its attempts to destabilise regional peace,” state-run Radio Pakistan reported.

False narrative to conceal truth

Earlier, in an exclusive interview with RT Arabia, Director General of Pakistan Army’s media wing, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has accused India of hiding behind a false narrative to distort facts and divert attention from its alleged acts of aggression and sponsorship of terrorism in Pakistan.

The Inter-Services Public Relations Director General said that it was the Indian Ministry of Defence that requested a ceasefire following recent cross-border escalations, to which Pakistan agreed in the interest of peace and stability.

“To understand the current escalation, one must consider the broader context of India-Pakistan relations,” said the army spokesperson.

He alleged that India was backing terrorist activities in the region, particularly in Pakistan, and was using “false narratives” to conceal the truth.

Accusations without investigation

He pointed specifically to the recent incident in Pahalgam, stating that Indian media and social media outlets began blaming Pakistan just minutes after the event occurred.

“Two days later, India’s Foreign Ministry admitted the investigation was still ongoing,” he said. “What wisdom lies in making accusations without investigation or evidence?” he questioned.

Lt Gen Chaudhry stated that Pakistan offered to cooperate and called for any evidence to be shared with a neutral, independent body.

However, he said that India rejected this offer and instead launched unilateral attacks on Pakistani territory, targeting mosques and resulting in the deaths of civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.

“True patron of terrorism”

“India is the true patron of terrorism in Pakistan—whether it is extremist elements or terrorist groups active in Balochistan,” he said.

The military spokesperson emphasised the duty of Pakistan’s armed forces to defend the nation’s sovereignty and borders. “We have fulfilled this responsibility and will continue to do so at any cost,” he declared.

He stated that Pakistan responded to Indian aggression on the night of May 6 and 7, when missiles were fired into Pakistani territory. In retaliation, Pakistan’s Air Force shot down five Indian aircraft. “The nation and armed forces stood united like an iron wall,” he added.

Intimidation attempts

According to Lt Gen Chaudhry, India launched additional missile attacks on the night of May 9 and 10 in an attempt to intimidate Pakistan.

“India forgot that Pakistan’s nation and its military never bow down and never will,” he asserted.

On the morning of May 10, Pakistan responded with what the DG ISPR described as a “measured, responsible, and proportionate” military action, targeting only Indian military sites while avoiding any civilian harm.

Following this exchange, DG ISPR claimed that a spokesperson from India’s Ministry of Defence requested a ceasefire. “We are in favour of peace and stability, so we responded positively,” he said.

Wisdom and effectiveness

He praised Pakistan’s diplomatic corps for engaging the international community with wisdom and effectiveness during the crisis. “We are not a violent nation. We are a serious nation. Our top priority is peace,” said Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif.

He added that major powers, including the United States, understand the spirit and resilience of the Pakistani people.
