In addition to the meetings with top government officials, Abdollahian is scheduled to hold discussions with National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani to explore parliamentary linkages between Pakistan and Iran.

The visit of FM Abdollahian presents an opportunity for the two sides to discuss various aspects of their bilateral ties, with a particular focus on regional connectivity, energy cooperation, and economic and investment opportunities.

Ahead of Abdollahian’s arrival, a high-ranking Iranian delegation, comprising officials from the Ministries of Trade, Roads and Urban Development, Investment, Agriculture, and Energy, engaged in preparatory meetings, further reinforcing the commitment to strengthening ties between the two neighboring countries.
