Pakistan Invites UAE Businessmen to Explore Investment Opportunities in Tourism

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s envoy to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Faisal Niaz Tirmizi has asked the UAE business community and investors to explore investment opportunities in the South Asian country.

The envoy expressed the statement during a visit to the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Abu Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in UAE on Saturday.

Tirmizi also held a meeting with Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, DG Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, and lauded the policies adopted by Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry for economic progress and development of the Arab county.

The envoy emphasized on the enhancement of cooperation of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce (ADCCI) with Pakistan’s Chambers of Commerce and frequent business-to-business visits.

UAE-Pakistan cooperation in tourism

The envoy briefed Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri about the investment regime and facilitative investment policies in Pakistan. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi invited the DG and members of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce to visit Pakistan to explore new investment opportunities.

The two sides agreed to initiate a project in UAE and Pakistan to further enhance B2B linkages between the two sides.

Earlier, Pakistan’s Ambassador also held a meeting with SSCI’s chairman Abdullah Sultan Al Owais and exchanged ways to enhance trade and investment cooperation between the two sides.

Pakistan’s envoy highlighted pro-economic policies, opportunities and invited the members of the chamber to visit Pakistan and explore economic opportunities, especially in the tourism and hospitality sectors of Pakistan.

He extended an invitation to members of the chamber to attend the International Trade and Toursim Show in Pakistan by February 2023.
