Pakistan Invites Jordanian Businesses to Explore Textile Sector

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Jordan have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, and education.

This commitment was reaffirmed during a meeting between Pakistan Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema and Jordanian Ambassador Dr. Maen Khreasat in Islamabad on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Ahad Cheema emphasized the growing demand for Pakistani cotton fabric and encouraged Jordanian businesses to explore opportunities in Pakistan’s dynamic textile and garment sectors.

Ambassador Khreasat expressed appreciation for the Pakistan Technical Assistance Program scholarships benefiting Jordanian students. He also highlighted the importance of expanding the range of disciplines covered by these scholarships.
