LAHORE: Pakistan’s Information Minister Murtaza Solangi met with Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi on Wednesday.
The meeting, attended by Provincial Information Minister Aamir Mir, centered on mutual concerns, resolutions for challenges within the media industry, and initiatives aimed at the welfare of the journalist community.
During the meeting, Murtaza Solangi commended Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi for the prompt execution and completion of public projects, expressing appreciation for the steps taken in this regard.

Later in the day, Murtaza Solangi said that the 16th martyrdom anniversary of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto serves as a poignant reminder that violent extremism, in its various forms, poses a persistent existential threat to Pakistan.

Expressing his sentiments through his official social media X account, he said that the ongoing battle against terrorism and extremism is a prolonged one but affirmed, “we shall win it, Insha Allah.”
