ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has logged 19 more Covid infections with no fatality during the last 24 hours, the statistics released by the National Institute of Health suggested on Monday.
According to the NIH information, the death toll in Pakistan remained the same at 30,640 whereas the number of total infections has increased to 1,576,397 after adding the new 18 cases.
During the last 24 hours, 3,953 covid tests were conducted throughout the country whereas a positivity ratio stood at 0.48%. The patients in critical care stood at 14.
Covid-19 cases in India
Sunday kicked off on a good note in neighbour India when no new cases of Covid were reported. On Monday, a streak came to an end when 113 new cases of covid-19 were reported but on the bright side, there have no fresh deaths. This raised the current active case tally to 1815.
On Monday, 88 citizens were discharged from the hospitals while 38,293 new vaccination doses were administered. This raised the total number of vaccinations to over 220 crores since an immunization drive started in January 2021.
