Afghanistan, the hosts, begin their campaign the next day against Bangladesh at the ICC Academy, with Sri Lanka facing Nepal at The Sevens Stadium on the same day.
A high-profile Pakistan-India showdown is slated for Sunday, December 14 at the ICC Academy.
This edition uses a straight knockout format, unlike the senior Asia Cup’s Super Four. The top two teams from each group advance to the semi-finals on December 19, and the final is set for December 21 at the ICC Academy, potentially setting up two Pakistan-India encounters—one in the group stage and, if both reach the final, another in the final.
