ISLAMABAD: At the stroke of twelve o’clock, firework spectacles light skies Pakistan as the nation started 76th Independence Day celebrations.
In the South Asian’s country capital city Islamabad, a large number of people turned out at the F-9 Park to watch a grand firework ceremony celebrating the Independence Day.
Independence Day Celebrations in Islamabad
The government and private buildings and homes across Pakistan have been decorated in order to celebrate this special day. People from all walks of life are taking part in the Independence Day celebrations with zeal and enthusiasm in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and other parts of the country.
In Lahore, spectacular fireworks display was held at several places. People were seen raising the slogan of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ and waving the national flag.

The grandest Independence Day celebration was organized at the Port Grand, in Karachi.
Similar events were held in Peshawar and Quetta and a large number of people especially youth took parts in these events.
