ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani court, Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday evening reserved the verdict on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s arrest in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

IHC had taken notice of PTI chief Imran Khan’s arrest by Rangers from the court premises.

During the hearing, Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Aamer Farooq said the court would examine whether the arrest was legal.

Chief Justice inquired whether the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) followed the arrest warrant in the same manner in every case.

Deputy prosecutor general Punjab Muzaffar Abbasi argued that Imran Khan had resisted several arrests. He said that if there is a possibility of resistance in arrest, then force could be used.
