ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan hockey captain and legend, Islahuddin Siddiqui, who led the team to victory in the Hockey Asia Cup and the World Cup Wednesday met with Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar.
During their meeting, Siddiqui presented his autobiography titled “Dash Through My Life” to the Prime Minister.
The discussions between the Prime Minister and Islahuddin Siddiqui revolved around the current state of hockey in Pakistan, as well as the necessary steps to restore and promote the sport. Siddiqui expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for attending the final match of the recent hockey championship, praising his support for the players.
