ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan on Monday increased the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs8.36 and Rs10.39 per litre, respectively, for the next fortnight ending July 15.
Local media cited a notification as saying, the price of petrol is now 266.79 rupees per litre from earlier 258.43 rupees, with an increase of around 8.36 rupees.
New prices of fuel
The price of High-Speed Diesel is now 272.98 rupees per litre from earlier 262.59 rupees, with an increase of 10.39 rupees.
The new prices are effective from Tuesday (today).
In the last fortnightly review, the government had increased the petrol price by Rs4.80 per litre to Rs258.43, and diesel by Rs7.95 per litre to Rs262.59.
