MAKKAH: The Pakistan Hajj Mission’s Lost and Found Centre in Makkah has been ensuring that luggage is properly delivered to government-sponsored Hajj pilgrims, and it has urged travelers to take all required precautions by clearly writing their passport numbers and names on their bags.
On Tuesday, the lost and found center manager told the state news channel that his organization had successfully given over 317 items—including luggage, wheelchairs, cellphones, and purses—to prospective pilgrims as part of the government’s hajj program.
He said that “Within a half hour, we are delivering the lost items to their owners.”
He added that Hajj pilgrims must make a full report about their missing belongings, together with their descriptions and the identification documents of their ownership, to receive them.
He also advised hajj pilgrims who have lost their luggage to get help by calling the Lost & Found Centre at 0567119736.
Complaint center for pakistani pilgrims
In response to a query, he stated that a special call center had been set up in Makkah to take complaints from Pakistani pilgrims.
He added that more buses had been made available to ensure pilgrims could travel quickly and efficiently to and from Masjid-ul-Haram and their homes.
