Under the government scheme, these pilgrims will perform their spiritual obligations in Madinah before proceeding to Makkah.

In the initial phase of the pilgrimage, around 34,316 Pakistanis are expected to reach Madinah by May 24 via 146 flights, where they will spend at least eight days performing prayers in Masjid-e-Nabvi (SAW). Muhammad Umar Butt, spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, revealed that 2,736 Pakistani Hajj pilgrims are scheduled to arrive in Madinah on May 15, bringing the total number of pilgrims to 15,819.

Subsequently, from May 24 to June 09, a total of 114 flights will transport 34,422 Pakistanis from various cities to Jeddah, marking the next phase of their pilgrimage journey. This year, a total of 179,210 Pakistanis are expected to perform Hajj, with allocations for both government and private schemes, as well as sponsorship schemes.

To ensure the smooth facilitation of pilgrims, the ministry has established control rooms in Makkah and Madinah, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by experienced officials. Medical services are also being provided, with 119 assistants and 66 doctors offering round-the-clock assistance.

The Pakistan Hajj Mission has demonstrated a commitment to addressing pilgrims’ needs, promptly resolving complaints received through its mobile app and recovering lost items. Additionally, arrangements have been made for pilgrims’ accommodations, meals, and medical care in both Madinah and Makkah.

Preparations for the pilgrimage operation included extensive training sessions for intending pilgrims, ensuring they are equipped with necessary information and support for a hassle-free experience. With these comprehensive measures in place, the Pakistan Hajj Mission strives to provide a seamless and enriching journey for all pilgrims.
