ISLAMABAD: The caretaker government of Pakistan on Thursday kept petrol prices unchanged for the next fortnight, after a fall in the global oil rates, a government notification said.
According to a notification by the Ministry of Finance, in a fortnight review, the caretaker government decreased the price of high-speed diesel by Rs7 per litre, bringing it from Rs 296.71 to Rs289.71 per litre.
The prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil have been decreased by Rs3.82 per litre and Rs4.52 per litre respectively.

After the reduction in the prices, the kerosene oil has been decreased to Rs201.16, while light diesel oil’s new price is Rs175.93 instead of Rs180.45 per litre.
Earlier this month, the federal government decreased the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs2.04 and Rs6.47, respectively, after a fortnightly revision.
