Pakistan Gold Prices Depreciate by Rs3,300 to Rs194,700 per Tola

ISLAMABAD: The per tola price of 24 karats of gold decreased by Rs3,300 on Thursday and was traded at Rs194,700 compared to its sale at Rs.198,000 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24 karats of gold also went down by Rs2,829 to Rs166,924 against Rs169,753, while that of 10 grams of 22 karats witnessed a decline to Rs153,014 from Rs155,607, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.

The price of one tola silver went down by Rs40 to Rs2,130, whereas that of ten-gram silver decreased by Rs34.29 to Rs.1,826.

Gold Prices in the International Market

The gold price in the international market witnessed an increase of US$2 to US$ 1,882 compared to its sale at US$1,980 on the previous day, as reported by the association. Despite an increase in the international market, the price of gold went down in the local market due to the appreciation of the Pak rupee against the international currencies on Thursday.
