ISLAMABAD:  Pakistan’s military spokesperson has said that India is sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan to destabilise the region.

Director General ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, addressing a joint news conference alongside Interior Secretary Khurram Agha in Rawalpindi on Friday, said that Pakistan has credible information and evidence that India, through its proxies like Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij, is fomenting terrorism in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He stated that Modi is exploiting anti-Pakistan rhetoric for political gain. “Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state that believes in peace, religious harmony, and respect for sacred sites,” he said. DG ISPR emphasised that the idea of Pakistan attacking a revered Sikh site like the Golden Temple is not only false but inconceivable.

“It is, in fact, India that has a history of attacks on religious places—including mosques in Pakistan,” he added.

Pakistan strongly rejected recent allegations made by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, including what it called a baseless claim regarding an attack on the Golden Temple.

The Director General ISPR stated that India has become the epicentre of efforts to destabilise the region and is financing, planning, prosecuting, and instructing terrorist activities in Pakistan.

He said that Fitna al-Hindustan is targeting innocent people, including labourers, barbers, passengers, and now schoolchildren, at the behest of their Indian masters.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry noted that Indian social media accounts, as well as electronic media, are also at the forefront of stoking terrorism in Pakistan. He showed screenshots of numerous Indian social media accounts and video clips of the Indian media celebrating terrorist activities in Pakistan, including the attack on the Jaffer Express.

Mahrang Baloch in reality is a “proxy” for the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), the DG ISPR said, warning that the state will treat proxies of terrorists in the same manner as terrorists themselves.

The DG ISPR asserted that decisive action is underway in the fight against terrorism and urged the media to play its part by exposing what was described as the “distorted, demonic true face” of such elements in front of the nation.

“These are the same people who parade carrying the pictures of missing persons. When DNA tests are conducted of these people, half of those turn out to be those they claim to be missing. Who are they to demand the bodies of the terrorists?” he said.

The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) stated that India is deeply frustrated by the fact that despite launching missile attacks, sending drones, and sponsoring terrorism, it has failed to break the spirit of the Pakistani people or weaken the resolve of the Pakistan Armed Forces.

“Every conspiracy and attack by the enemy is thwarted by the nation through unity, patience, and resilience,” said the DG ISPR. He emphasised that India’s despair is, in fact, an acknowledgement of Pakistan’s strength, unity, and sacrifices.

He underlined that the Pakistani nation and its armed forces have always considered the blood of their martyrs sacred and have placed the defence of the homeland above all else. “This resolve is our inheritance from our ancestors who secured this country through great sacrifices and taught us never to allow harm to come to it,” he added.

“No matter how hard the enemy tries, Pakistan will defend its territorial integrity and sovereignty at all costs,” said the DG ISPR.

He affirmed that the Pakistan Armed Forces are the nation’s hope, an iron wall, and an unbreakable defensive force. “Pakistan is not only fully prepared for its defence but also has the capability and determination to respond decisively to every cowardly act by the enemy,” he said.

The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) presented what he described as a glimpse of Indian state-sponsored terrorism, revealing how groups like “Fitna Al-Hindustan” are targeting innocent, poor, and blameless Pakistani civilians in Balochistan at the behest of the Indian government.

Video clips shown during the briefing highlighted the devastating aftermath of these attacks, including the killing of children and the profound suffering inflicted on their families. “This is not just an attack; it is a strike at the heart of every Pakistani citizen,” the DG ISPR stated.

He accused India of using the guise of democracy to mask its role as a perpetrator of oppression, brutality, and terrorism. “India has become the ringleader of terror under the pretense of being the world’s largest democracy,” he added.

The visuals, he said, serve as a piercing question to international human rights organisations and a call to conscience for the global community. Pakistan has demanded that the international community take serious notice of these crimes and hold India accountable.

“Every innocent life lost will be accounted for, and the enemy will be exposed,” vowed the DG ISPR. “These images and videos remind the world that any entity targeting children and civilians is not a state—it is a terrorist.”

The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) presented an audio recording of the terrorists involved in the martyrdom of innocent schoolchildren in Balochistan. The recording, made public during the press briefing, clearly revealed how these terrorists are systematically funded, the channels through which the money is transferred, and who is operating behind the scenes.

The conversations captured in the recording expose the terrorists’ malicious intentions and unmask their true sponsors. According to DG ISPR, this funding is being used to advance an anti-Pakistan agenda and to target innocent civilians.

“The network responsible for training and providing resources to these terrorists is no longer hidden,” he said, emphasising that the state is determined to bring all those involved in anti-state activities to justice.

He called on the international community to break its silence, stating, “This is not just an attack on Pakistan, but an attack on humanity itself.”

“This audio recording tells the world exactly on whose orders the blood of innocent children is being shed,” the DG ISPR concluded. “Pakistan will ensure that these criminals are brought to justice.”

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Interior Khurram Agha informed reporters that initial findings into the Khuzdar school bus attack have confirmed that the incident is part of a broader pattern of violence sponsored by India through Fitna al-Hindustan, operating under the tutelage and patronage of the Indian intelligence agency RAW.

He said that, having miserably failed in the so-called Operation Sindoor, India’s terror proxies have been tasked with intensifying their heinous acts of terrorism in Balochistan and elsewhere — to sabotage development in the region, incite fear among the population, and derail the journey of peace and development in an attempt to repeat their playbook of 1971.

The Secretary Interior made it clear that the people of Pakistan will not let them succeed. He said that Pakistan and its people, particularly those in Balochistan, reject this nefarious design.

He added that the state of Pakistan has both the capacity and the will to dismantle these networks and bring the perpetrators and their handlers to justice. He said that, having suffered immense casualties in their attacks on hard targets, Fitna al-Hindustan has now resorted to targeting soft targets — labourers working on development projects, infrastructure, and machinery — in an attempt to paint a picture of a weakening state grip.

Much against the traditions and culture of the Baloch, these terrorists have stooped so low as to target innocent schoolchildren.

Khurram Agha assured that the state, in collaboration with provincial governments and national institutions, will defeat these terrorist elements. He said that these Indian-sponsored terrorists have no place in Pakistan or in the national discourse. He emphasised that Pakistan has both the means and the resolve to bring an end to this violence, and that the response will be firm and decisive.
