ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Germany have affirmed their commitment to further strengthening mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.
This affirmation came during a telephonic conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and German Foreign Minister Dr. Johann Wadephul, a Foreign Office statement said on Tuesday.
The two leaders appreciated the positive momentum in Pakistan–Germany relations and reaffirmed their commitment to deeper cooperation.
They held an in-depth exchange of views on regional and global issues, agreeing to maintain close dialogue to promote mutual understanding and strengthen cooperation in shared areas of interest.

“They also looked forward to meeting on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) next week,” it said.
In February this year, the two sides signed a €45 million technical cooperation agreement on climate and energy, economic growth, employment, health, and social protection.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Climate Change engaged with German experts earlier this year to explore the development of the country’s carbon market infrastructure.
In parallel, both nations have reaffirmed their commitment to defense cooperation and regional stability through a series of high-level exchanges in 2025.
