Pakistan, Germany Agree to Strengthen Trade, Investment Ties

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Germany have pledged to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade and investment.

As per details, Pakistan’s Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, and Germany’s Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Svenja Schulze met in Islamabad.

During the meeting, they focused on expanding economic collaboration with a focus on sustainable business practices and labor standards. Both ministers expressed their commitment to fostering deeper ties between their countries’ business communities.

The discussion also highlighted the National Compliance Center, an initiative by Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce aimed at advancing labor compliance and social responsibility within the country.
