BEIJING: The Pakistan Food and Culture Week, held in Tianjin, China, was a thrilling trip into the heart of Pakistan’s culinary tradition and cultural tapestry.

While speaking at the opening ceremony, Economic Minister at the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing, Aslam Chaudhary said that the Pakistan Food and Culture Week was not just about cultural exchanges and culinary; it also played an essential role in strengthening people-to-people bonds and fostering diplomatic ties between Pakistan and China.
He added that such events provide a platform for cultural diplomacy, promoting friendship and understanding between the two nations.
It dispelled misconceptions and enhanced the community’s respect for Pakistan’s rich history by giving the residents of Binhai, Tianjian, a first-hand look at some of the country’s customs and culture. A Pakistani student at Tianjin University named Umer Farooq said to China Economic Net that besides the culinary spectacular, the Pakistan Food and Culture Week offered a chance for tourists to learn more about the nation’s rich cultural legacy.
“Traditional dance and music performances captivated audiences, giving them a deep dive into the rhythm and spirit of Pakistan. Intricate handicrafts, artifacts, and textiles were showcased, providing a window into the artistic traditions of Pakistan that were passed down through generations,” he added.
According to students and businesspeople in Pakistan, the celebration of Pakistan Food and Culture Week is a shining example of how food and culture can cross barriers and bring people together.
