Pakistan Felicitates US on Independence Day

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has felicitated President Donald Trump, the US Administration, and the people of the United States of America on their Independence Day.

In a post on social media platform X, he said Pakistan greatly values its longstanding partnership with the United States and remains committed to further strengthening our bilateral ties in the years ahead.

The Prime Minister said we are also proud of the Pakistani American diaspora, which serves as an important bridge between our two countries.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also extended warm congratulations to the American people, Acting US Ambassador Natalie Baker, and other diplomatic officials on the occasion of the United States’ Independence Day.

In his message, the minister conveyed his best wishes to the US government and citizens, stating that Pakistan joins the American people in celebrating their national day.

He said America’s Independence Day is a testament to sacrifice and the greatness of democracy, emphasising that freedom symbolises identity, sovereignty, and dignity.

Highlighting the leadership of President Donald Trump, Naqvi remarked that under Trump’s guidance, the United States has advanced on the path of development, unity, and peace.
