ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Engineers Forum-Qatar (PEF-Q) celebrated Pakistan Day with great fervour at Pistachio Restaurant in Qatar.
The Pakistan Day event was attended by a large number of Pakistani professionals and engineers who recited the Holy Quran and national anthems of Qatar and Pakistan.
The Defence Attaché at the Pakistan embassy, Commodore Sharjeel Iftikhar, stressed the crucial role of engineers and professionals in the development of Pakistan, while PEF-Q Chairman Badar Sohail Khan emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among the Pakistani community in Qatar.
Contributions of engineers in Pakistan’s development
PEF-Q President Riyaz Ahmed Bakali highlighted the significance of research and development, urging Pakistani professionals and engineers to take ownership of their actions to contribute to the progress of their country.
The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and a patriotic song. Chaudhary Mohammad Ajmal expressed his gratitude to the attendees for their participation and love for Pakistan.
