WASHINGTON: The Pakistan Embassy in Washington D.C. commemorated the 84th ‘Pakistan Day’ with a flag hoisting ceremony held on Saturday, showcasing the enduring spirit of the Pakistani nation and its commitment to progress and prosperity.
Led by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Masood Khan, the solemn ceremony commenced with the raising of the national flag, accompanied by the stirring strains of the national anthem, symbolizing unity and pride among the Pakistani diaspora gathered in the heart of the American capital.
In a gesture of solidarity, messages from President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif were shared during the event, highlighting the significance of Pakistan Day and invoking the nation’s collective aspirations for a brighter future.
