Pakistan Embassy in Paris Welcomes Athletes for Olympic Games

PARIS: The Pakistan Embassy in Paris on Friday hosted a meet-and-greet event for athletes representing Pakistan at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah Khan, who will represent the Government of Pakistan at the Olympics Opening Ceremony, was the Chief Guest of the event.

The gathering saw enthusiastic participation from members of the Pakistani diaspora, media representatives, and other friends.

Attendees were thrilled to interact with members of the Pakistan Olympic team, including javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem, swimmers Jehanara Nabi and M. Ahmed Durrani, and sprinter Faiqa Riaz.

It is pertinent to mention here that an 18-member squad comprising athletes from athletics, shooting, and swimming will compete in the upcoming Paris Olympics starting today.
