ANKARA: The Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara, Türkiye has hosted a mango-tasting event in collaboration with supermarket CarrefourSA on Friday where freshly cut Chaunsa, the most popular mango variety in Pakistan was offered to the visitors.
A press release issued by the embassy said the event was aimed at introducing unparalleled flavour and quality of Pakistani mangoes to Turkish consumers.
The embassy staff while interacting with the visitors, highlighted the exceptional taste and exoticness of Pakistani mangoes, stressing their status as ‘King of Fruits’. The embassy noting the positive feedback and enthusiasm from attendees has decided to hold similar events in future.
Pakistan is one of largest exporters of mangoes in the world. Over 200 varieties of high-quality mangoes including Anwar Ratol, Sindhri, Langra, Dusehri, Fajri and Maldah are produced in Pakistan.
