ISLAMABAD: The second consignment of cement from Pakistan has been dispatched to the United States.
The consignment of 37,500 tons is worth $2.25 million.
Cement production potential
The executive director of Nishat DG Khan Cement Group Fareed Fazal said on Wednesday that Pakistan has the potential to produce six million tons of cement.
He said that Pakistan consumed 4 million tons of cement while it can export 2 million tons.
