ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has discussed the current regional situation following last night’s Indian attacks and Pakistan’s subsequent response, a statement of Pakistan’s Foreign Office said on Saturday.

According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, Dar today spoke with the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan.

Dar apprised him on the current situation in the region following last night Indian attacks and Pakistan’s subsequent response.

Saudi Arabia foreign minister expressed condolences over the loss of innocent lives and appreciated Pakistan’s measured and restrained response. Both leaders agreed to maintain close contact.
