ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar will visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 26–28 February 2026 to participate in the Open-Ended Extraordinary Ministerial Session of the OIC Executive Committee.
“The Ministerial Session, scheduled for the night of 26 February 2026, will be held in Jeddah,” said a statement issued by the Foreign Office on Wednesday.
The emergency ministerial session has been convened specifically to address the recent illegal decisions by Israeli occupation authorities, which include expanding settlements, pursuing annexation, and attempting to impose Israeli sovereignty over occupied Palestinian territories.

During the ministerial session, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister will articulate Pakistan’s perspective on Israel’s latest unlawful actions aimed at converting areas of the Occupied West Bank into so-called “state land.”
Pakistan is expected to call for unified OIC action against these violations of international law and UN resolutions.
On the sidelines of the main meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister will also hold bilateral consultations with his counterparts from other OIC member states to coordinate positions and strengthen collective responses.
Following the diplomatic engagements, Ishaq Dar will undertake brief visits to the holy cities, combining his official responsibilities with spiritual observance.
Pakistan has consistently advocated for the rights of the Palestinian people and supported their struggle for self-determination.
The country remains committed to the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent, contiguous, and viable Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
